Hartnett: $1 Trillion Every 100 Days
The first time we pointed out that US debt is rising at the pace of $1 trillion every 3 months - or ~100 days - was last September:
Total US Debt surpasses $33 trillion for the first time.

Since then it has gotten far more stupid, and earlier today we were shocked to report that after exploding by $89 billion on the last day of February alone, US debt has risen by $470 billion in the first two months of the year to $34.471 trillion and is on pace to surpass $35 trillion in a little over a month, $37 trillion well before year end, and $40 trillion some time in 2025, about 2 years ahead of the CBO's "impartial "forecast.
