"There's No Voting Ourselves Out Of This" - Restoration Through Catastrophe

Even though Frederic Bastiat lived two centuries ago, his wisdom echoes across the ages.

His quote below is proof human nature never changes, despite technological advancement.

He captures in one sentence the current state of affairs in the U.S. and most of western civilization.

"When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe."

There is no voting ourselves out of this.

Those manipulating the minds of the masses through mass media propaganda, government school indoctrination, and complete control of the narratives spun by those who want to destroy our nation, have convinced the masses wrong is right, abnormal is normal, deviant is ordinary, lies are truth, slavery is freedom, ignorance is understanding, dependence is liberty, government is here to help, and thinking for yourself is dangerous.

I don’t fit into this world and I don’t want to fit into this world.

I do believe we are headed for a myriad of simultaneous catastrophes, and after we allowed our government, media, culture, and society to be hijacked by evil men with evil intent, we deserve what is coming.

We’ve turned our back on the country we were given by our founders, and the community standards required  to maintain that country.

You ultimately reap what you sow and we will eventually sit down to a banquet of consequences.

I don’t know when, but I sense it won’t be long.
