Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a televised address in English on Tuesday wherein he railed against the International Criminal Court's (ICC) "outrage of historic proportions" as it pursues its human rights abuses case against Israel, which is to include a potentially imminent issuance of arrest warrants for the Israeli leader and his top officials. His heated words come just as college campuses across the US (though mainly on the coasts) are popping off with Gaza-related unrest.

"International bodies like the ICC arose in the wake of the Holocaust committed against the Jewish people. They were set up to prevent such horrors, to prevent future genocides," the prime minister said. He charged that the ICC is actively trying to prevent Israel from defending itself against terrorism visited upon the Jewish state on Oct.7 and after.
